History
Starting in 1937, C.W. Pooles & Co. operated for 69 years under the same same. Under new ownership, from 2006 to 2011 our brokerage operated in partnership with another local brokerage; this timeline included the 2009 acquisition of Regent Insurance Brokers.
Going forward, our vision for the future would include a new name and distinct brand. Our mission had two objectives: Firstly, to indentify us as Western Canadians. Secondly, to project our message as an inclusive and welcoming business; ready to serve the richly diverse mosaic that is the modern Western Canada.
On January 1st, 2012 a new era was launched when we rebranded as Nation West Inc. o/a Nation West Insurance Brokerage. In 2013 we added Nation West Marine Insurance and Nation North Insurance Brokerage as distinct divisions under our corporate umbrella.
