Nation West Insurance Acquires Reno Insurance Brokers Ltd. in Winnipeg

WINNIPEG, Manitoba: Nation West Insurance, a highly respected insurance brokerage with multiple locations throughout the City of Winnipeg, is once again expanding. As of June 1, 2024, the locally-owned business has acquired the 2 retail locations of Reno Insurance Brokers Ltd. plus its Homeowners program office, which will now be under the Nation West Insurance banner.
Founded in 1937 and operating under the name Nation West since 2012, Nation West Insurance has been serving the Winnipeg community for decades. In addition to its four existing locations at 1610 Kenaston Blvd., 2844 Pembina Hwy., 2521 Portage Ave., and 1030 Keewatin St., the brokerage will now also be offering its full range of insurance services out of the former Reno Insurance Brokers Ltd. locations at 2077 Pembina Hwy. and 1396 Regent Ave. Nation West Insurance has also acquired a third Reno program office out of Castle Mortgage at Waverley St. and McGillivray Blvd.
